Give Back Initiative – Toiletry Donations

toiletry 6

Part of Terrapin's Give Back Initiative was to establish a program to collect and donate toiletry items from our tour participants. Un-used shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, etc. are collected after each night’s stay from any traveler who does not use them and then donated to a local charity or organization.

With the help of our travelers, Terrapin Tours has been able to donate thousands of these items to places like Liberty House for Veterans in Manchester, NH; David’s House at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Medical Center in Hanover, NH; the New Hampshire Veterans Home; The Boston House, serving families who travel to Boston from all over the world so that their children can receive medical care at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic, and numerous food pantries and shelters across the state of NH.
